If you want to make an appointment with a doctor or nurse, please phone the main surgery number and speak to a receptionist. For an urgent appointment on the same day, please ring as early as possible. You can make an appointment with a nurse without seeing the doctor first.

Extended Hours (the hub)

North Tyneside CCG have now set up an extended hours service which runs from 4pm-8pm weekdays and 9am-2pm on weekends. The appointments run at Priory North Shields and Tynemouth, Collingwood in North Shields, Oxford Centre in Longbenton, Battle Hill Health Centre in Wallsend and Northumberland Park in Shiremoor. The hub offers both GP appointments, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. If you wish to have an appointment in the hub please ask a member of staff when booking an appointment.  

On line booking

You are able to book routine appointments with any of the Doctors and you are also able to cancel appointments.  To be set up for this service please visit or phone the Practice with your email address. These appointments are not suitable for coil insertions/removals, pessaries, minor surgery, HGV/taxi/private medicals please phone the surgery to make an appointment for these reasons.   When registered you will also be able to order repeat prescriptions through the same web site

Interpreting service

If you would like an interpreter to attend your consultation, please tell reception when you book your appointment.

Disabled access

Our health centre has suitable access for disabled patients. All the patient areas including the waiting room, the consulting rooms and the toilets have wheelchair access.

Cancellations

If you cannot make an appointment please make sure you let us know as soon as possible in order for the slot to be given to someone else.
